Classes & Workshops
Each month we offer a brand new schedule of classes which open for registration on the 1st Thursday of the preceding month at 9am. Check out the classes on the card below, or scroll on to view the classes by level.
Beginner I Wheel Throwing
Come and learn the basics of wheel throwing in a relaxed small group setting. These lessons will focus on wheel control, hand positioning, centering clay, glaze application and the use of basic tools. By the end of this 4- week course, students will have created 4 functional pieces to take home. All materials will be provided. Shoes and clothes will get messy.
Beginner II Wheel Throwing
For students who have completed the Beginner I Wheel Throwing Course.
This course will allow the student to expound upon their basic throwing skills and will focus on centering larger amounts of clay, handling mugs, trimming, and glazing techniques. All materials will be provided. Shoes and clothes will get messy.
March Intermediate 1 Wheel Throwing
Mondays | 7:30PM
For students who have completed Beginner 2 or have equivalent wheel experience.
This course will allow the student to expound upon their basic skills and will focus on centering and throwing at a larger scale.
March Handbuilding 2
Saturdays | 9:30AM
For students who have completed Beginner 1 or have prior handbuilding experience.
Come and learn the oldest method of building with clay. These lessons will focus on advancing your basic hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab building. Students will gain a better understanding of the clay lifecycle by working on larger scale pieces with additive and subtractive processes.

Galentine’s Handbuilding Workshops: Gnomes and Mugs

Come learn how to make your own ceramic mug or gnome pair for Galentine’s with us! No prior experience necessary. This is a relaxed time to explore hand building and enjoy some mimosas, drinks, and local pastries provided. And as always, you can count on good tunes and good vibes.
