Classes & Workshops

Each month we offer a brand new schedule of classes which open for registration on the 1st Thursday of the preceding month at 9am. Check out the classes on the card below, or scroll on to view the classes by level.

 

Classes

Beginner I Wheel Throwing

Come and learn the basics of wheel throwing in a relaxed small group setting. These lessons will focus on wheel control, hand positioning, centering clay, glaze application and the use of basic tools. By the end of this 4- week course, students will have created 4 functional pieces to take home. All materials will be provided. Shoes and clothes will get messy.

 

Beginner II Wheel Throwing

For students who have completed the Beginner I Wheel Throwing Course.

This course will allow the student to expound upon their basic throwing skills and will focus on centering larger amounts of clay, handling mugs, trimming, and glazing techniques. All materials will be provided. Shoes and clothes will get messy.

May Date Nights: Wheel Throwing

May 1st | 7-9PM

Bring your favorite person and have fun learning the basic techniques of wheel throwing. This is a relaxed time to explore pottery and enjoy a new experience. Tasty beverages provided. As always, good tunes and good vibes included.

 

May 1X Handbuilding Workshop: Taco Trays

May 8th | 7-9PM

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo and come learn how to make your very own ceramic taco trays with us! This workshop will teach differing hand building techniques (no wheel this time). This is a relaxed time to explore hand building and create functional items you can use. As always, you can count on good tunes and good vibes.

 

May 1X Handbuilding Workshop: Mother’s Day Tumblers

May 9th | 9-11AM

Celebrate the mom in your life and come learn how to make your very own ceramic coffee tumblers with us! This workshop will teach differing hand building techniques (no wheel this time). This is a relaxed time to explore hand building and create functional items you can use. As always, you can count on good tunes and good vibes.

 

May 1X Wheel Throwing Workshop

Have you thought about taking pottery lessons before? Or wished there was a 1x class that could give you a taste of what it’s like before you commit to one of our 4-week classes? This 1x wheel throwing workshop is for people who have no experience but want a general introduction of what it’s like to throw pottery.
