Handbuilding 1: Wheel Throwing
9:30-11:00 AM | 4 weeks
June 6, 13, 20 & 27
Come and learn the oldest method of building with clay. These lessons will focus on advancing your basic hand-building techniques such as pinch, coil, and slab building. Students will gain a better understanding of the clay lifecycle by working on larger scale pieces with additive and subtractive processes. By the end of the course, students will have created functional and decorated pieces available to take home 4 weeks after the conclusion of the course.
All materials are included. Wear clothes and shoes that can get messy.
Please arrive 10 minutes early to prep your tools and clay — we’ll walk you through everything in the first class.

Class Details & Policies
Minimum of 4 students required; full refund issued if class is cancelled.
Ages 13+ (students ages 13–15 must attend with an adult)
Refunds are available up to 14 days before the first class.
No refunds within 14 days before the first class. If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your seat to another person.
No make-up classes; students receive 2 hours of open studio credit if a class is missed.
Students may only attend the dates/times registered.
